HIGH RISE compare and contest essay.

Have you never heard of a site called HIGHRISE. This site is an site which shows people living in very hard condition. I have never known this site until  last week but I think that by this site we can learn many things.
Now to my topic I am going to talk about a guy name John. The reason that I chose him is because in my opinion he is the one who live in most  different place like Korea.

 First I will talk about where he lives. He lives in Africa in a city called Johannesburg. In the place he lives it is totally diffident. In the place were he lives there used to be many crimes. I will say things that had happened. First many people who suicide by jumping off the buildings. Secondly there was an human eye ball found in the street. Thirdly when they were cleaning the elevator they found a piece of a humans skull.

That is not all there are buildings that were hijacked. This mean that the tenants don't pay money to the owner but to the hijackers. The Hijackers would killed the owner and move in and get money by the tenants. After 6 months the light and water would be cut out and if tenants don't pay the money they will be found dead the next day.
Well I think that these crimes happen because many of people are poor so they want more money so they make money by robbing some one or robbing a building.

 Secondly I will talk about what is out side of John's window. Out of John's window there is many tall buildings. However the bulidings look very old because  the paint have been peeled off. All of the people seem to live in a apartment which is not orgniaized. The many of the houses that they leave in was recovered from the hijackers. Still they can be living in a place that is not recovered. Because there was so many hijackeed buildings most of the bildings don't have elevator. It would be very hard to move to another bilding because they have to move the thing by stairs.

Now I will talk about were I live. I live in a place called seoul the biggest city in korea. Were I live there is no crimes. We can never hear anyone saying that they got killed or got robbed. I think it is because there are less poor people then were John lives. Even though there are many people suicide in korea I never saw anyone suicideing before.
Also in korea if you can rob a house then you are a god. Also the main difference betweeen were he lives and where I live is that in korea we can't use guns but where he lives they even kill a person but don't get caught. In korea if we kill a person then right after that we will get caught by the police.

Even though there is many difference in the place we live but the thing he sees outside of the window looks very simalr as seoul. There are many armparment same as korea but where he lives there is no academies!!!!

Well that is it even though he lives the other side of the earth there are many simair things and different things.

Ode Dear Red Card

Dear Red Card

Before you appeared  my life was happy and joyful.

However when you appear you make people miserable and dark.

You make my brains go mad by making  me sign it.

If the green card is heaven you are like the hell.

You stay in the PA's pocket were it is dark but when you see a light you bring that darkness with you.

You torture us until the end of the camp by  special training.

I hope you disappeared from the world and left us the way it used to be when you don't have to worry about getting special  training.
Without you there will be a peace on Earth.
I want to rip you in to thousandths of shreds and burn to and send your ash to the space.
Nobody likes you if you are alive you give tons of stress to all the people in the world.
Only joyfulness that you give is only to the PAs. 
You hunt in my dreams and make my sweet dreams to a nightmare.
If you ever come up to me again right away I will get rid of you what ever I have to do.

  

Writing in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Person Narratives

1st person

Today I woke up at 6:00 in the morning and had breakfast at 7:00. Then I was headed to the advisor class. Until  there it was very normal but when I was going all most to the end some PA called one hundred head mountain was running after me holding a red card!!!!

Well I didn't want to get a red card so I ran to my class room but there was no body there!! Then the door opened and then appeared all the P.A a red card!!!

2nd person

S.A.T. Style Reflective Essay: "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring"

Hello I am Jacob Hwang from class 21. After watching that film I think the teacher is trying to tell the student about death and how important life is. In the movie the student ties rocks on to the fish frog and snake. At first he did it for fun but later he regate that he did that because the fish and the snake was dead. I have some exprince like this. It was when I want to my grand praients house there was alot of insect so I killed alot of them but now that I think of it I think I was just to cruel to those small things.
 Also many of us haven't exprinced death yet but because he exprinced it in a very young ageI think that it would have been very good lesson to him. In my opionion I think that when you learn something in a young age it is very hard to forget about it when I was younger I relize how important money in life by stealing it from my grand mother. And I still remember it.
 I know how he would have felt when he saw the fish and snake was all dead. In America there was alot of ducks and gooses and they would come to the road and get hitten by cars and die. When I saw those birds I felt very sorry to see that they were dead even though it wasn't because of me. Because he

The pop song contest!!!!!

Today we had the pop song contest. We practiced was about two day so we memorized all of the songs but we didn't have time to practice for some dance or movement. Also at the day of the con test we realized that the song that we were doing (which was heal the world) got the first place in last summer camp. So there was no hope of winning unless we did better than the last group which was impossible. The first prize went to the team 10 who had the most creative idea.
 So we didn't win the prize but it was wealth trying. I hope next time our team can win some thing like the speech contest or debate contest. 

This video is a music video of a song called 'waving flag'. I like this song because this song was used as the team song of the 2010 world cup. This music video was sang by knaan but it was also used to help people who was having problems  living in Haiti. They sang this song because they wanted to raise money to help the Haiti from the earth quack.

Writing Chain *** "Girls Are Not Smarter Than Boys" by Class 21 Jacob Hwang

````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````Hello my name is Jacob and I want to thank you for coming to my blog!!!!
Before I start I want to explain what wirting chain is wirting chain is a S.A that you fist start then later you change it with a other student and they will continue the story.

I wrote about why girls are not smarter than boy I wanted to have good reason, but I was disappointed of the reasons others gave. However I liked it anywhy. So here is my S.A.




 If it can be said that " girls are smarter than boys they have got it all wong. there is many reason to support it.
 Well first everone is same there is no differences in boys and girls. It is just that they don't try hard enough. I really don't know why the word 'lady first' came out. Then how about gentle men first. However I like to say that if boys try hard enough boys could be much better than the girls.

 Secondly long time ago womens were considered in a very low level so they could not study and was not allowed to by smarter than boys then. When did this changed because long ago will were very smart kind and had all the good jobs but now if you see the streets the most of the homeless are boys. So I think that boys should try more hard to resive the rebution that we used to have.

 Also I really want to say that there is many students who are girls but doesn't study well. In my class who are girls but is really bad at studying. also the best student in my class is not a girls but a boy and untill the 3rd place it is all boys. This clearly shows that girls are no better than boys.

My partents all ways say to me that "girls are better at studying because they don't play games." However this is not true at all 90% of girls play viedo games.

In concusion I think that people should stop saying that girls are better than boys because of the reasons above reasons. I think that boys should try to study harder so they will think boys are better

The few days at GLPS

The first day that we came I was little bit nervious because people here was all new people but I got friends with them very soon. Also in the same day we had a test to sort in classes. It was a wirting test witch I am worst at so I was worried at first but when I started to wirte it became easy.
The next day we had a interview this was also to diside the classes we will be in. The interview was actully very fun. I did well on the tests so I got in higher class.
So far I am enjoying the days at camp because I made a lot of friends and the classes are very fun instead of boring.
